JANE CAMERON joins the Board as Chairperson after having been a member of the Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre training
room since October 2003 and participating in Stomping Ground 2005 and Stomping
Ground Masterclass 2006. She has
undertaken a range of intensive workshops with international artists including Ellen Lauren (Viewpoints, Suzuki/2005), Yumiko
Yoshioka (Butoh/2006), Steph Kehoe (Lecoq/2006) and Alejandro Rolandi
(Contact improvisation/ 2007).
Her stage performance
credits include iOrpheus (2007), Wings of Desire – Coolum Kite Festival
(2007) and Stomping Ground Masterclass 2006 – The Ugly Duckling (2006)with Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre; Thank God Its Tuesday with Improactive
(2007); Macbeth (2007), Miracles (2003), Vinegar Tom (2002) and Accidental
Death of an Anarchist (2001) with Nash Theatre; Silhouette (2006), Baby with the
Bathwater (2005) and The Children’s
Hour (2004) with Centenary Players; and Brilliant
Lies (2004) with the Brisbane Arts Theatre. Her film performance credits
include the short films Bloss (2007),
Jade (2007), The Whip (2007), For Your
Eyes (2007), Cycle (2005), Pursue Your Dreams (2005) and Think of the Consequences (2005); appearances
on the Extraneous Moustache Sketch Show
(2007) for Briz31; and Claire Whiting’s filmclip Prolonged produced by Flipbook Media.
Jane has recently completed
a Masters of Arts Management and is taking on the role of Production Manager
for the 2008 Zen Zen Zo mainstage production – Sub-Con Warrior 2.0.

WESLEY ENOCH is the eldest son of Doug and Lyn Enoch, who hail from Stradbroke Island. His directing credits include The Dreamers and Conversations with the Dead for Company B at Belvoir St Theatre; Fountains Beyond for the Queensland Theatre Company; Stolen, which premiered at Playbox and has since toured both nationally and internationally; Romeo and Juliet
for the Bell Shakespeare Company and 1975 for the Melbourne Workers’
Theatre. While Resident Director with Sydney Theatre Company, his
productions included Black Medea, The Sunshine Club, Black-ed Up, and The Cherry Pickers, which toured to the UK. In 2002, STC remounted The 7 Stages of Grieving, co-written with Deborah Mailman. In 2004, Wesley directed Riverland,
for Windmill Performing Arts, which was presented at the Adelaide and
Perth International Festivals, and for Legs on the Wall, he directed Eora Crossing, a spectacular free outdoor event for the Sydney Festival. He directed The Sapphires for Melbourne Theatre Company and again for the 2005 Sydney Festival. In 2005, Wesley directed Rainbow’s End and Bitin’ Back for Kooemba Jdarra and Black Medea for Malthouse Theatre and Company B. Wesley has also been Artistic Director of Kooemba Jdarra Indigenous
Performing Arts and Ilbijerri Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
Theatre, and an Associate Artist with the Queensland Theatre Company.

SANDRA GATTENHOF is Co-ordinator and Lecturer in Postgraduate Drama Teaching
Courses -Creative Industries Faculty (Performance Studies). She is an
acknowledged leader of professional development in drama education and
has also lectured and tutored at Griffith University, Australian
Catholic University and Nanyang University, Singapore in the teacher
pre-service programs. Previously she has held the positions of
Education Liaison Officer (Primary) for Queensland Arts Council's
School Touring Program, primary classroom teacher, primary drama
specialist teacher, a Dramatist-in-Residence in Queensland State and
Catholic primary schools and Key Learning Area Regional Co-ordinator
(The Arts) for Education Queensland.
Sandra has worked in the arts
industry as an actor, singer and writer/director in theatre, theatre
for young people and television. She is the President and current
editor of Australian Drama Education Magazine (ADEM) for Drama
Australia, member of Queensland Arts Council Accreditation Committee,
past president of Drama Queensland, working party member of Young IDEAS
for International Drama/Theatre in Education Association, board member
for Young People and the Arts Australia and Contact Youth Arts Inc.
Sandra is the education contributing editor for Lowdown – Youth
Performing Arts Magazine. Her research interests include theatre for
young people, youth performativity, contemporary performance and new
media/interactive teaching environments.

KATHRYN KELLY is currently the Executive Director of
Playlab. Trained as a dramaturg at the
University of Queensland, BA (Hons), her credits include shows with LaBoite,
Zen Zen Zo, the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, the Out of the Box Festival
and Osmosis in Brisbane; Cahoots Theatre Projects and the Factory Theatre in
Toronto and Playbox in Melbourne. She
has also dramaturged with the Australian National Playwrights Conference, the
World Interplay Festival and the JUTE Enter Stage Write Program. Her arts administration work includes
consultancies with the Public
Art Agency
in 2002 and Arts Queensland in 1999, reviewing the Regional Arts Development
Fund. She has published in Ignite, Australasian Drama Studies,
Playwrights Union of Canada
Journal and the Literary Managers and
Dramaturgs' Association of the America's
Journal. She is also an Artistic
Associate of the Queensland Theatre Company, Performing Lines and Critical
Stages.

IAN LAWSON is the Associate
Director of La Boite Theatre Company, which involves working as a Director and
Dramaturg, and managing the Company's Creative Development Program. For La Boite Theatre Company Ian has
directed My Love Had a Black Speed Stripe as part of The
Holden Plays (2002), Urban Dingoes (2004), Crèche
& Burn (2005) and the 2006 national tour of Crèche & Burn,
Last Drinks (2006), The Narcissist (2007), Summer
Wonderland (2007), The Danger Age (2008) and the 2008
return season of The Narcissist which was also presented by the
Sydney Theatre Company as part of their 2008 Season. Ian also designed The
Mayne Inheritance (2004) for the company and directed the regional
productions of After January (2002)
and 48 Shades of Brown (2003). For the Queensland Music Festival Ian
was the Associate Director and Designer on Bobcat Dancing (2003)
and Bobcat Magic (2005). Prior to working at La Boite,
Ian was Co-Artistic Director of green Theatre Company. For green
Ian has directed and designed Oleanna, The Misanthrope, Jerusalem,
Cheapside, The Big Picture, The
Maids, Alive at Williamstown Pier, A Doctor In Spite of
Himself and The Vagina Monologues. Ian is an Honours graduate from QUT,
majoring in directing and design.

MELISSA ABIGAIL WESTERN was born in Manchester, UK, the only daughter
of a jazz-singing English father and an award-winning Sri Lankan model
mother. She performs internationally, acting, singing and dancing in
musical theatre shows and cabarets, writing and producing new works
and singing as a feature vocalist with a range of jazz ensembles.

'sell out' show), Wicked Bodies (La Boite Theatre, Zen Zen Zo Physical

Machine, Santa of the Never Never (Tell Tales Entertainment), Boneless
Chicken Brecht, Inheritance, Schoolies, An Entirely New Sensation
(Cracka Theatre Troupe).

Melissa was Valedictorian of her graduating Bachelor of Arts at UQ,
holds a University Medal from the University of Queensland, first
class Honours degree and was awarded her Masters of Philosophy in the
field of Drama in 2006.
Melissa was the President of the Brisbane Jazz Club from 2004 – 2007.
She was the youngest President in the club's 35+ year history.

STEVE WORLEY is a professional resources manager and has been managing forestry-based businesses for the past 20 years. He is currently General Manager, Davis & Herbert.
Steve has worked both in Australia and overseas in a range of roles with both strong operational responsibility and responsibility for strategic corporate development. Steve has strong track record in establishing new and spin-off businesses which have delivered considerable value. In addition to that, he is currently leading the development of innovative carbon forestry models for a major Australian manufacturing business.
Steve has a long, informal association with Zen Zen Zo and was asked to join the Board. Since joining, Steve has focussed on the development of corporate sponsorship for the company as an adjunct to its current funding base.
