LIA REUTENS graduated with Bachelor of Fine Arts: ACTING from Queensland University of
Technology (QUT) in 2007. During that time she played various roles and worked
with prominent directors such as Michael Futcher, David Bertholdt and Kate
Cherry. Lia also has an extensive
background in Dance, Physical Theatre and Circus Arts. She has performed with Vulcana Women's Circus and corporate
events, specialising in Adagio Acro-balancing, Aerial Silks and Static Trapeze.
In 2009, Lia toured around Australia performing
in "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes"
with Canute Productions/ Arts on Tour. She recently performed the role of
Princess in "The New Dead: Medea
Material", directed by '09 NIDA Graduate, Kat Henry which travelled to
Adelaide Fringe Festival and will run for a season at La Boite Theatre in late 2010. Lia is represented by ICS: International
Casting and Associates, Sydney.
