MELISSA BUDD has been involved in training with Zen Zen Zo since 2008. Before undertaking a position within the company’s Internship Program, Melissa was a full time high school teacher in Brisbane, specializing in Dance and Drama education. She has also taught at dance schools in the Brisbane area and has completed major examinations within the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing syllabus. Melissa trained as a dancer, actor, choreographer and teacher at the Queensland University of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Dance and Drama, as well as a bachelor of education. Melissa has been involved in various productions, including undertaking the position of stage manager for Zen Zen Zo’s staging of Gaia and also taking on the role of director for school productions of X-Stacy, Juice and The Wiz.
