Dale Thorburn

hs_dalethorburn.jpgDALE THORBURN began training with Zen Zen Zo at the age of sixteen and has since completed the company internship program in 2008; where he performed in the Butoh dance-theatre production Zeitgeist.  His interest in Butoh saw him travel to Japan where he studied with Maro Akaji [Dairakudakan/2008]; Semimaru [Sankai Juku/2008] and Yoshito Ohno [2008].  Dale has also trained with Scott Witt [Physical comedy/Slapstick/2008]; Jorge Lopes Ramos [Butoh/Capoeira/2007] and Steph Kehoe [Lecoq/2007].  He has graduated both the Queensland Actor's Playhouse (Excellence class/2007) and the Australian Acting Academy (School of Excellence/2006).
