JUNIOR TEACHER
Jessica Samin is a teaching/performing artist who was introduced to Zen Zen Zo in 2006 where she performed in Sotoba Komachi (Dir. Simon Tate and Tora Hylands). Continuing with the training, Jessica has been lucky enough to work with several international artists including Jorge Lopes Ramos (Butoh/Capoeira 2007) and Steph Kehoe (Lecoq 2007). 2009 marks her completion of the company Internship, performing in William Shakespeare's The Tempest (Dir. Lynne Bradley, Simon Woods and Drew der Kinderen)
Other credits include Gaia (Dir. Muramatsu Takuya and Yuyama Daiichiro 2009), William Shakespeare's The Tempest (Dir. Lynne Bradley; collaboration with Hong Kong's West Island School 2008), Dear Dentist I Have A Gap In My Box (Under The Radar Festival 2008), Blood Wedding (Asst. Dir/2008), iORPHEUS (2007, Collaboration with William Duckworth, Nora Farrel and QLD Conservatorium) and Wings of Desire (Coolum Kite Festival 2007).
