PETA WARD
is physical theatre performer and teacher. First introduced to Zen Zen Zo
while completing her BA (Drama) at QUT in 2000, Peta has since completed the
internship program in 2005 and performed in company productions and events
including: Sub-Con Warrior 1
(2006), An End To Dreaming (for the
Dresden Dolls, 2006), those with Lucifer
(2005). In 2007 Peta will perform in Zen Zen Zo's Dracula, Romeo & Juliet and Where The
Waves Crash (dir.) Peta's interest in physical theatre has motivated
much of her travel overseas where she has trained with Anne Bogart and the SITI
Company (New York 03), the Theatre Training Initiative (London 03/04), Fran
Barbe (London 04, Brisbane 06) and Ichiro Nakayama (London 04). In Australia
Peta has trained with international guest artists Yurabe Masami (02), Ellen
Lauren (05) and Yumiko Yoshioka (06). Other performance credits include: Six Women Standing In Front of a White Wall
(2006/ dir. Chenoeh Miller), The Big
Foonki (2001/dir. Linsey Pollack), Warning:
Small Parts (2000/dir. Judith McLean)
and The Silver Circle Project
(1999/dir. Sean Mee).
