Originally performed in Japan in 1995 as a bilingual production, Zen Zen Zo's Macbeth then came to Australia and had multiple seasons and tours until 2000.
 
   

   
The Man Who Sold The World
Performed in 2000 at the Brisbane Powerhouse, Zen Zen Zo's The Man Who Sold The World went on to tour in Queensland and interstate throughout 2001.

Based on the classic tragedy of the king of Thebes, Oedipus. Performed with the Southbank Institute of TAFE students in 2000.

The Cult of Dionysus
Originally performed in Japan in 1994, The Cult of Dionysus was brought back to Australia for a season in 1996. Based on Euripides', The Bacchae.
 
   

   
The Zoo Story
The Zoo Story ran for several short seasons in 1993 at La Boite, the Cement Box and the Cherry Herring Space. Based on Edward Albee's famous Absurdist play, the production was set in an insane asylum and was a study of the impacts of schizophrenia.
 
   

   
Galileo
Galileo was performed in 1993 at the Cement Box Theatre. Based on Brecht's play of the same name, it explores the life of the famous astronomer Galileo Galilei.
 
   

   
The Way of Mud / Never the Elephant
Two of Zen Zen Zo's earliest productions, The Way of Mud and Zen Zen Zo: Never the Elephant were Butoh-inspired were performed in 1992 and 1993. Presented in the Cement Box and the University of Queensland.
 
   

   
Zen Events
Zen Zen Zo is often invited to perform small works as part of festivals, events and gigs. Some of these Zen Events have included: iOrpheus (in conjuction with the Brisbane Conservatorium of Music), Dresden Dolls World Tour, ABAF and The World Shakespeare Congress.
