Come on a sensual musical adventure with live surround sound as part of the Sunshine Coast Chamber Music Festival with two of Queensland’s most innovative performance ensembles. Renowned for their stunning re-imaginings of the classics, the DeepBlue Orchestra and Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre will seduce you with an accessible and engaging repertoire of classics and original compositions.

Oh, and by the way, you’ll be lying on a yoga mat and encouraged to take a nap!

Set in the atmospheric main hall of the Chenrezig Buddhist retreat nestled in the hills of the Sunshine Coast hinterland, you will enter the liminal space between waking and sleeping as the Zen Zen Zo dancers move around you like shamans or spirit walkers between the light and dark, life and death, music and silence, weaving a shadowy web through the bitter-sweet music of the DeepBlue Orchestra.

Come early to Chenrezig and enjoy a walk through the gardens, and lunch at the Big Love Café.
